I especially liked the quote “We Aren’t Making a Living, We’re Making a Dying” and the subsequent paragraph: There are also journaling questions at the end of each chapter that help with this. More than being a financial book (or a book that talks about money), it’s a “personal development guide” that pushes you to think not only about money and your relationship with it but also your entire life (your habits and beliefs). The two main questions that the book wants to address are: “Are you satisfied with the contribution you have made to the world?” and “Does your job reflect your values?”
The video itself is informative and if you don’t have time to read the book, I feel like the video is sufficient on its own. I was intrigued by the concept of money being equated to Life Energy so I decided to read it myself. I first heard about this book from Ali Abdaal’s YouTube video where he talked about how this book changed his relationship with money.
